How long does a Windshield Replacement take?
The average replacement takes about an hour to complete, though we highly recommend that you wait 2-3 hours after the installation (depending on weather conditions) before you drive your vehicle. This will allow plenty of time for the urethane seal to cure. Your technician can give you a more precise time based on weather conditions and the materials he used.

Do you use High Quality glass and materials?
Yes! The glass that we install will be the same color and quality that is currently in your vehicle, it is manufactured to your vehicle’s specifications for proper form, fit and function. In addition, all products and procedures implemented by our technicians meet or exceed federal safety standards. We endorse and train our technicians to Auto Glass Replacement Standard (AGRSS). Can you replace glass other than a windshield? On my SUV?
Yes! FIXMYGLASS.COM can replace all of the factory installed glass in any type of vehicle, including the glass in your doors, back, sides and quarters, as well as most sunroof glasses. Van glass? We replace it. Truck glass? We replace it. Sport Utility Vehicle glass? We replace it.

Do I need to be there while you replace my glass?
No. You just need to have your vehicle unlocked when out auto glass technicians arrive.

Do I need to contact my agent or insurance company before I schedule an appointment?
No. We can schedule your appointment, verify your insurance coverage, help you file a claim, handle all of the paperwork and direct bill your insurance company for you.

Will filing an auto glass claim count against my insurance policy?
Auto glass is usually covered under the comprehensive portion of your insurance policy, not the collision portion. In most instances, insurance companies will not count auto glass damage as a claim on your policy and your premiums will not increase.

What if my deductible is the same or more than the cost of the auto glass service?
You will only be responsible to pay the amount of your deductible. Your insurance company will be billed for the remaining cost of the service.

I already have a claim/referral number, now what do I do?
We will gladly accept your existing claim or referral number because we connect electronically with ALL of the national auto glass networks that process glass claims for insurance companies throughout the country. This electronic process ensures that we have all of the claim information and the pricing structure that your insurance company requires in order for your claim to be processed.

Why should I use FIXMYGLASS.COM ? My insurance company did not give me your name.
FIXMYGLASS.COM is an approved shop for auto glass repair and replacement by all Insurance companies nationwide. Sometimes this fact is not clear because you may be given the name of a different “preferred” shop by the claim processing network that you are on the phone with at the time you file your claim. The network has a list of several “preferred” shops (FIXMYGLASS.COM being one of them) in your area and the name of one or two of the shops on the list are given out on a rotating basis. 

The fact that you are given the number to a particular shop does not mean that your insurance company feels that the shop does better work than any other shop in the area, it simply means that the shop’s name has been rotated to the top of the list.
